Over the past 7 years, God has worked through City of Light Church to help change thousands of lives across Southeastern Wisconsin. Through Adopt-A-Neighborhood Programs, School Supply Giveaways, Home Improvement Projects, Conferences on Racial Unity at Wisconsin State Fair in 2020, City/Suburban Community Gatherings, Food Pantries, Family Counseling, Health & Wellness Programs and more; God has allowed us to make a big difference.
We are at a pivotal moment. As these efforts have changed lives, God has placed more families than ever before in our care. We have seen record attendance on Sundays. Over the past year, we have witnessed 30-40% growth in the size of our church family without adding staff to help care for these new families.
Since 2020, we have experienced an increased need for spiritual and mental health services for the communities we serve. Families are simply under increased levels of stress. We need solutions to give an increased level of spiritual, mental and physical support.
God has sent more K-12 children from all over our city and suburbs that need mentorship and a safe place to grow. Spaces that were set aside for these youth are beginning to reach capacity.
God is calling us BEYOND! Every journey that God calls people to take requires BEYOND faith. Over the next 2 years, we believe God is calling us to faith like Abraham, when God challenged him to go beyond familiar and comfortable territory to experience the miraculous.
We believe your faith will cause you to see generations of lives changed. Just as God told Abraham to look at the sky and count the stars, those will be the countless lives changed by you trusting God over these next two years and beyond.
• $300k – Enhance our impact of serving current and future families by increasing staff
• $900k – Continue investing in all areas of in person and online ministry
• $1M – Invest in a larger building with more family spaces, auditorium, outdoor gathering area, entrepreneur hub, student areas and more
