LAD LAKE PARTNERSHIP

City of Light has selected Lad Lake as a community partner who is making positive efforts to care for youth in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Through the BEYOND initiative, we are donating resources and partnering on a serve day to see youth across Southeastern Wisconsin have clothing and supplies to support them as they work through some challenging times in their lives.

Lad Lake's mission is to guide the growth of at-risk youth and their families in order that they reach their potential and live responsibly.

Lad Lake believes that all children should have the support they need to succeed in life.

LAD LAKE'S FOCUS

Most times, youth enter our facilities at their most vulnerable – whether they are suffering from a mental health crisis, abuse and neglect, battling addiction or have aged out of the foster care system.

Furthermore, 95% of the youth in Lad Lake’s care come from a family in crisis unable to support them as they wish; most suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other serious anxiety disorders.

With the help of our partners, we help more than 1,100 youth and their families every year to accomplish our mission of guiding growth of youth and families so that they can reach their potential.
